Dear Investors.

 

Gold and silver prices are trading lower in midday, with gold seeing some profit-taking from the recent rally.

 

The gold market has rallied over $100.00 an ounce very quickly.

 

Federal Reserve's meeting at Jackson Hole, Wyoming much will be revealed regarding how some of the officials are thinking later this month.

 

Many members believe they can be a bit more aggressive regarding the monthly bond purchases and perhaps start to taper next year.

On the other hand, a group of members still feel they need to be patient.

 

The labor markets are getting stronger but more data needs to confirm the overall strength of the economy. At this time opinions vary from member to member on how to proceed.

 

The economic symposium should provide more information and a better feel on timelines both for interest rates and bond-purchase tapering.
