The Same Music.

The Same Music. Dear investor.   Have you noticed, participation in making market predictions is high.   Everyone is getting their estimates out there. Follow your instincts, not the herd. Let's cut through the chase; most are in the camp expecting a recession.    A high percentage bring up escalating geopolitical tensions as a market motivator. So far if you think about it, we have the same music with a slightly different arrangement. That's it.   All the above is rather normal behavior at the beginning of the year.    No matter who says what or how they phrase it; smart money is looking at a key fundamental, central bank buying has been extremely active.   Perhaps the most active in recent memory...this is important. Their actions in buying gold so aggressively...is a complete contradiction or should we say a hedge against their own decisions to raise rates at a record pace.  Interesting.   There is another small detail worth mentioning, a recession is certainly possible this year.    However, stagflation is not only possible, but likely in the current  economic environment.
