With the amount of information available, it's necessary to fine-tune
your filters. The funny thing is that most people have an opinion, everybody does. 

 

In most cases, they are wrong. If you own  keyboard by today's standards, well, you're an expert, if you never made any money, who cares...write a book on trading.

 

Turn 95% of the noise off, and work with the balance.

 

The Silver Institute released a new report showing data reflecting tight supply and rising demand. Basis the numbers, this year could present a shortage in supply.

From a technical perspective, gold and silver are in a pocket of congestion.

 

It´s been within this range for days, and it will break out soon. The question is, lower or higher...nerves one way or the other will prevail with the Fed meeting May third. 

 

This close to the Fed meeting turning right or left is just as simple; however, any extreme move requires immediate  attention...Don´t fall asleep at the wheel.

When Rates Start To Fall. Dear investor.   While the FOMC meeting is taking place, let´s take a moment to understand the potential for precious metals heading into the new year.   If we look at basic economics, in an environment where interest rates are rising sharply, the textbook answer is for the metals to decline in value.   That being said, over the last year, rate hikes were not rising, they were on fire, straight up with no brakes insight...and gold managed to hold, plus, establish a new record high in such hostile conditions.   Then the logical question is, what are the possibilities as interest rates start to fall?   This requires that you calmly digest and review closely the last twelve months.   Tomorrow, the Fed will most likely stay put, with the inflation numbers remaining stable from the last report. Expect Volatility.

Expect Volatility. .
