Who´s Next?

Dear investor.

 

The size of banks that have failed recently... are rather frightening.

 

These are some of the biggest failures ever; what is going on behind close doors?  What is the truth and magnitude of the problem in the mid-size Regional Banks and down the line? 

 

This is the perfect shell game; where and who is next? The Fed is trying  to broker deals, minimizing or trying to limit their exposure.

 

FDIC is lost; how do they play this hand? How much beyond the $250,000 insurance maximum  could they go, and if so, what are the risks associated with much higher depositor protection levels.

 

From a banking perspective, the range of possibilities are endless.

 

Just a curious thought; one day away from knowing the Fed decision, what kind of medication is Mr. Powell taking to face the music. 

 

In basic terms, every notch  higher on rates brings other banks closer to the edge.

Who Knows?   Dear investor.   THE PATTERN REPEATS ITSELF; already, the Fed will make two cuts this year, and so forth and beyond...foolishness at its best.    Folk´s stop this nonsense...not even Powell knows how many potential cuts might unfold this year. Ounce again, the Fed is data-driven, without the data, it´s impossible to speculate on future cuts.    A reminder: April  2 nd is around the corner, the day that reciprocal Tariffs around the world are supposed to be put into effect.    It´s another dark cloud hanging over the markets.
