Market Overview. Dear investor.   At times we overlook the basics; the dollar has risen sharply, and the 10-year treasury over 5 %...but, gold and silver have rallied very strong over the last 30 days.    This goes against normal textbook economics.   There is certainly a component coming from all the geopolitical turmoil, but also endless underlying economic concerns that justify new capital entering into precious metals.   Many analysts state a dollar-top forming, and a reversal in the 10 year treasury appears imminent.    Long-term holders of U.S. bonds continue to abandon ship: China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and others make up a rather amazing list of major buyers who have fled the weaponized dollar-denominated asset.    Remember, just recently, the BRICs membership increased substantially in their last meeting in South Africa.   In the Middle-east, fighting is intense, however, from a market perspective, investors are waiting for verification of some kind of regional escalation, before committing to additional positions.
