Iran Attracks.

 

Dear investor.

 

  • The conflict, as expected, has escalated; Iran fires missiles into Israel...no major damage has been reported. 
  • Israel will respond with significant force, will they go after the Iranian leadership? Is the door open for Israel to strike directly at the country's nuclear facilities? We will know soon.
  • The greatest threat to Israel is a nuclear weapon.
  • However, most think Iran is still years from that capability.
  • Therefore, the strikes on Israel today might provide that window to destroy or, worse case, delay Iran's nuclear applications.
  • The markets are not surprised. Keep in mind that if you expected the escalation, then the market already factored it in. 
  • The essential issue to understand is, unlike many years ago, we know the damage or lack of damage...instantly.
  • Gold and silver will react to the escalation but will be dominated by our economy and the Fed.
